You need to forget him, you know that.[/b] I do know..... but why? Why do I have to forget him? Because, if you don't, life will no longer hold meaning. Your saga will end here, is that really what you want? Of course not! How dare you have such an inquiry. Why are you still here anyway? Haven't you tormented me enough?[/b]
Silence. She got no answer. The fae stood for a long moment, pondering over the conversation that had just taken place. It was right, It was always right. And yet, somehow it always felt wrong. She'd always listened to It in the end, but it always led to disaster before something good came of it. Now It was telling her to forget him? How would keeping his memory destroy her chance at life? Perhaps, knowing of her travels into this new terra, It knew old memories would prevent her from picking up a new life, a new identity, as she did with every new move. Forget.[/b] Ha! Funny, such a simple little word, yet so hard to achieve. Impossible really, the way things run through her mind to simply 'forget' the one she most truly cared for. Fell. Just when she'd felt wanted, felt as if someone understood and loved her, he vanished. But, the catch. He left his memory to tear her heart to shreds.
She sighed, gazing into the vast nothingness of empty space. There was nothing, nothing here to move her foreward. No longer a reason to keep her lungs full of breath, to keep that organ pumping blood through her veins.
I told you.Told me what? Now you decide to come back? How conveniant.I simply left you to your own devices so you can figure the answer for yourself. You don't want to go on, do you? And do you know why? Because you're remembering him. Toss out his memory, there's no need to keep it any longer.
She did not answer It, for once more It was right. She came to the realisation that no, she could not go on towing the anchor of regret behind her. The only answer? Throw his memory into the great abyss of abandonment. Easier said than done. The dove stepped back into an easy saunter, weaving through mirthless timbers, treading upon rotting foliage. A few scents traversed through her glands, but nothing that captured her interest. This new place seemed like a secluded spot, which was much to her liking.
Finally, she reached the edge of the timbers. Just beyond where she stood, a corona drenched meadow stretched as far as she could see. It's tall grasses swayed and flowed with the breeze, resembling all too well the sea. It had rolling hills, gnowls, and undoubtedly somewhere she could quench her parched throat. And another aspect, there had to be other beings about. It was only a matter of time before she was discovered, so why hide?
The dove broke into an easy sprint across the smooth turf. Her destination? A glittering stream she saw not far off. Within seconds she was there, halting at the stream's bank. Those deep, gorgeous portals took one more glance about before halo dipped, lapping greedily at the life giving azure. How desperately she needed it! For minutes on end she was at it, until finally she finished, leaning back on silvered haunches, plume wrapped neatly about them. She let loose no song, nor did she make noise of any kind. She would simply let herself be found, and nothing more.
So who exactly is this intriguing female? They call her Kiba Blue. But names mean nothing, and exactly who she is, well, you'll have to find that out yourself.
