Jarrah sneered at the fae, chortling as her words errupted from her drought throat. "Well I think you yourself need to earn that leadership, and so far you have done little to impress me." He knew that she would never truly dominate him, she did not have it in her. He saw through her petty little comments and mere threats, she was weak; and weak canines make weak Alpha's.[/color]

At this comment alchemy's eyes fleared red in the shallow morning light, as she deftly cut in front of him, ears plastered to her smooth head. "You challenge me to leadership? of this forest?" She spat at him,her lips curved into an ugly sneer. " If you think i am weak, think again. i could take you down. And if you want to test my ability, then challenge me" She said meaning every word. 'If he dared challenge me, he would lose!' She thought cunningly to her self.

Jarrah laughed haughtily at the petty fox. 'Oh indeed how worked up she gets. Tsk tsk, how sad. Otherwise she would have made such a great lead. No patience at all this one, nor tolerance.' He smirked at her comments, 'Hah, oh how mighty she think she be. Who is she to tempt me in killing her when she was in such a weak state?' He glared at her mangled paw accusingly. "You so truly believe yourself fit for battle in such poor conditions? Wench, I advise you think twice before speaking such decieving words - for your own safety." He sneered, showing his pearly white fangs. Grim laughter accompanied his demonic grin as he paced around the petty fae. If she dare appose him, he would kill her without hesitation.

"a Question if i may?" she asked silkly bearing her glissing teeth in an ugly sneer, " What would you do if i gave you the possishion that you so obviously desire?" she said gruffly as she creped up the moss covered ground towards the delicet looking lizered lying on the bark of a tree in the hazy sun. when she was a mere breath away from the lizered she lifted the undammaged paw and cut deep gouges into the reptiles body, so swiftly that the poor animal had no time to react before it was to late. the she sat her nose now drenched in a crimson blood as she ate savegely at the animals corps.

Jarrah smiled at the undaunted killer. It suprised him that she would so carelessly rip through the hide of that innocent reptile, perhaps he had misjudged her, perhaps she was darker than he had first thought. He scowled at the setting sun. The day had gone by so quickly, his life wasting away with the foolish words of this fae. He glared back at her face, seeping in past the innocence and into the core of her mind. What would make her suddenly give up the position she knew he wanted so willingly? He knew better than to walk straight into her word trap, so instead answered with a question of his own. "What does the mouse do when the cat offers him freedom?" He asked, jeering at his own words. Would her little mind be able to comprehend his words? He doubted it but that was her problem. He looked deeper into her words, perhaps there was a slight taint of inocense in them, his invisible brow v-shaped as he pondered into this thought.
He shook his coat of fire, with it he ridded these questions. Perhaps he had not wondered deeply enough of her darkness. Indeed she seemed vicious enough, she had just proved that with her little 'play' with the lizard. He looked back to her mangled leg, no doubt there was a fight put up for that vicious wound. Maybe she was darker than he gave her credit for.

alchemy licked her bloody lips, a crimson trickle ran down her throat and onto her dark ruff. she lifted her head fractionally and seared daringly into his eyes, blinking freely, if she needed to fight, dry eyeballs would only burden her. " it depends if the cat was trustworthy. but in any case i would refuse, being the case of, "curiosity killed the cat." don't you think?" she asked impatiently, lifting an eyebrow into a high arch. a question for a question. she thought smoothly to herself. and awaited his replie.

The Fiery Orb now sunk below the horizon, leaving the sky empty and blank. The fire-pelt fox stared, transfixed on the stream of blood that drooled down the vixens maw, merging into her hide. He looked back up to her mask, throwing back a look just as menacing. He did not fear her, he rested back on his haunches. Not once did he sever the connection between their eyes, he found it somehow vital that he not back down to her, not after all the hard work he had put in to making sure she were not to boss him. Tearing away from her demonic stare would only feed this fictional illusion of hers. He listened to her hastened words, they came out sharp and cragged, yet posing a good point. He did not desire to refuse the position, but heeded that he should not advance right away. His tail flicked inquisitively by his side, his eyes held a sense of purpose t'ward the wench. "Indeed." He answered simply, softening his glare slightly. He respected her answer yet it held no real meaning. He puzzled at it for short time before tossing it aside. "So do you wish to appoint me or was it just a meaningless waste of breath you throw away so hastily? M'dear time is not forever, we be getting no where with this pointless converse and meaningless questions." He inclined, his snout raising slightly.

alchemy gently raised her chin into the chilled night air, thinking briskly to herself how bruteskly jarrah had thought her under him. "i rest jugement for now. and if you would make all hast to the spring or river you promised, i would like a drink, for my throght is parched, from thirst." she spoke with athorety but was blunt and to the point, takeing advantage of the males sudden niceness towards her. she stood briskly and marched fluidly towards him, her chin raised and tail circled her feet as they landed surly and steadly on the damp ground.

It was odd the way that no matter how hard one can try, there is no promise of success. You can coerce and mishap but again, there is no surety. Ofcourse the same thing occured when trying to pass the message clearly that one is not boss of myself. This little siren dearly deemed her self more important than I, it made me smile. It was quite cute in a way... Well no, it was sometimes quite irritating. Luckily this one does not have the strength to lead, therefore is even weaker in pretence. Atleast I knew rightfully in my thoughts that I was top dog, that was never to change - twas merely hence my nature. The fox eyed the fae as she spilled her vocals into the chilly air. He watched her near him and then return to her laying position. "Do you intend to crawl there m'dear? If so, I suggest we eat first because this will take all day." Jarrah replied firmly and slightly coldly, yet there was still humor in the remark. He sneered, lowering his cranium earth-bound. His legs were squared past his shoulders in a repelling stance, his tail swished impatiently.
